I don't see any food. Does that mean I get my pick? Burgers/Dogs? Buns?
Or do we already have stuff leftover?

Jedi still have 5 boxes of burgers for the season and 10 packs of dogs.
So burgers and dogs are covered.
    Bob is bringing brauts IJRC.

BREAD is what we will need.
Jedi has not posted the meats since the event is still a bit away and the numbers are still small.

In terms of the plywood I emailed the DNR today to see if they can accept the 4'x8' foam boards like these
    Appleseed_targets_2.JPG

but in 4'x8'. Menards has them on sale until the 9th for $8.xx which is much cheaper than the plywood.

We will see what they say. I also plan on getting them some brooms as well.

I would just pick up a few foam boards and let them test it out. The only issue I can see for them to be against it is that they are not biodegradable. After a few rounds with a shotgun that foam board would be all over the place. It would be a mess to clean up but it would be a cheap alternative.

Agree lone on the biode... which I suspect may be why they have to use the plywood since "nature" is all around them.
I told them I could bring 1 or 2 if they wanted to try them out or more if they are OK with it.
We will see what they say.

Well, if necessary I can bring plywood on the trailer. But like I said, my mobility is limited and 4x8 sheets of plywood is beyond me.

Of course this would fall on my drill weekend.

After attending NFA Day, I'm definitely going to be trying to attend more INGO events, as long as I won't be at drill. =(

Since you cant come, its not right for your rifles to sit at home by themselves. Maybe you should donate them for the day. :ar15:

Weather permitting, I'll be there tomorrow and check on what they have in the shed
    and on the lines.

Thank you I picked up 4 shop brooms for them from Menards today.
2 Multi Purpose and 2 Rough Surface 18" brooms.
Tagged with our website and name and they are ready to go.

Thank you UnionPmedic. Can't tell you the count just yet looks like we will have no more than 20 members right now.

Your welcome. When we get closer give me an approximate count on how many burger / hot dog buns you think we'll need.

    BTW, I'll be bringing:

    2 .45 Rock Island 1911's - limited ammo
SKS - extremely limited ammo (Jedi, do we have any 7.62 X 39 left over from the youth day?)
Mossberg .22 bolt action tube fed with peep sites (can't remember the nomenclature right now, very accurate) - decent amount of ammo
    S & W .22 revolver - decent ammo

Are kids allowed? I'd like to bring my 11 yr old. He was at the Youth Day and has shot since then; he's really getting into it.

This is my 10 yr old a few months ago.

Kids are very welcome as long as they're safe and parents stay w/ them.

Had a great afternoon at the range.
Got the sore shoulder to show for it.

Talked with the RO about the shoot.
They are full of posts now but can still use backstops.
They don't want foam. And prefer the full half inch osb.
They have to swap out quarter inch backers midweek when they are busy.
The large dust pans are surviving well.
Most brooms are looking shabby. He had a couple new brooms but could use more.

    Thanks for the 4-1-1.
Guess it was a good idea of getting the 4 new brooms for them.
Metal dustpans are on sale this week @ menards but since they don't need any Jedi will skip on them.
1/2 OSB ouch that is the more $$$ stuff.
