Call will go straight to voicemail if phone is off, or more likely in your case if the system cannot see (find) the phone at the time of the incoming call. A text will be stored on the host computer until it can be delivered but the call is realtime so voicemail is the only option. Start checking signal strength if there are particular areas/environments where the problem is more prevalent.

The kicker will be if the voicemail is delivered shortly after you move to an area of strong signal.

Yeah, could be it. Signal really sucks at my house. Dropped calls all the time.

Not the Note but I just bought the Galaxy J7 today. My POS LG ran out of memory and it wouldn't take an SD card.

So far it looks like the J7 will be good. I've been very happy with Samsung in the past and am quite certain I will not be going back to LG - like ever!

Now I just have to reinput all the calendar data, favorite book marks, apps, logins & passwords, etc etc etc.

Who said living in the modern age was easier???

Love my note 4, except now my screen has burn in....grr.

Next phone will likely be a nexus...

I thought I was the only one...my Note 4 has the apps burnt into the screen too. Didnt do that, or get as hot as it does now until this last big update. I can actually watch my battery lose 1% while I'm typing this...ridiculous. I'd love to get the new Note 7, but I'm wanting to lower my bill right now and mines almost paid off...

I got Facebook permanently burnt into my screen...only smart phone I've ever had that I noticed such burn in. My verizon bill is already too high, so that's the otherreason fornot upgrading.

Mines at $300 right now, my own fault though. Same here, never had that happen before with any other phone I've ever had!

Got my Note 7 a day before launch, still haven't dug into it much. But I also have a Note 5... so it's not a huge change for me.

It's nice, bright, and fast... feels good.

I've had the 5 for about a month now and it seems ok.
The only problem I have is sometimes i can't hear the voice-mail, it records and plays, just no sound

Have had my Note 7 since launch and it has been great do far, I upgraded from the old S5 (same generation as the Note4).

The battery life is killer I am sitting at 49% and I have been using it since 7:20AM today. The wireless charger is a must and is really quick as well.

As to the "softer screen" first thing I did was throw it in an OtterBox Commuter and a ZAGG screen protector works great and the wireless charging even works with the OtterBox on.

Since I Pre-Ordered it I got the free 256gb memory card so I don't have any issues there (the 16 GB S5 was a pain).

The 4gb of Ram is really fast as well allot quicker than the S5, have not really used the Pen allot but ehhh not my thing I just wanted the bigger screen.

The camera is leaps and bounds better than the S5 / Note 4 as well so if you like taking pictures it makes the upgrade worth it as well.

And the waterproofing works as well, overall I am very very happy with the phone

Preordered the Note 7 to Upgrade my S5. I love it so far. I also just received the 256G memory card. Verizon also bought my S5 for $200. The free 256 gig memory card and the money for my old S5 sold it for me.
This is my first Note, only dabbled a bit with the S pen.
I bought an Izengate wallet case so the phone is pretty well protected, and the case also has my ID, 3 card slots, and 2 slots for $$.
I've only been harassed for carrying a man purse twice, lol.
I like carrying 1 thing now that has it all.
I was a bit hesitant with a non removable battery, but I've actually never had to replace one yet, knock on wood.
My Note 7 is now 64g+256g. Now wtf will I ever use that much storage for, lol?

Right but same battery is used here. If I recall they do have different electric there as well so possibly a charger issue.

The battery used is also used in several other phones, nothing really new so don't know why there are issues.
There might not be ANY issues.
