I use the step counter, smart view and gestures.

Should've said when you root and then have an app like Titanium back up you can go through and freeze each individual app. Sorry I assumed you were familiar with rooting and such. I freeze instead of uninstall just in case I need to go back. Also freeze all the useless AT&T crap too.

I froze all of the useless junk on my S4 as well. This is my fourth android phone and by far the best. I haven't even bothered installing a custom rom on this one, that's how good it was straight out of the box.

In my opinion cases do nothing for the phone. I'm done buying them. I'll put the $50 towards my deductible on insurance if something were to happen.

I believe it survived the initial fall, but the case came apart and this happened on the bounce.

Here is my Galaxy Nexus that was wearing an Otterbox Defender:

I agree. I do have a thin one for the edges bc I dropped it and the back comes off easy and it made I rough sharp place on the edge. .I do not really rely on it truly protect against moderate to heavy blows tho.

I've got the s4 active. Awesome phone, way better than the s4 I had a while back.

Why is it better than the S4? I thought the S4 Active was a slightly detuned, but beefier version of the S4? Did you mean to say it replaced your S3?

The S4 Active is not better than the S4 as far as specs. It's slightly downgraded, actually. Performance is nearly identical between them, from my experience.

He probably meant he had the S3 before.
