I probably should have done my research, but got caught up in.....wow that's a cool little gun, so I purchased it. I purchased the S&W 38+P bodyguard w/ built in laser. I really an happy with the feel of the gun and it's accurate shooting. The only down side to the laser is the position to turn on the laser. In the heat of the moment, I'm not real sure I would be comfortable taking the time to press firmly on the top of the gun for the laser. To do all over again, I would by one with out the laser or look at getting the ruger.

I'm surprised that the S&W is setup that way to be honest. The Ruger LCR, the button is on the front of the grip to activate the laser. So in the heat of the moment the laser will activate just by gripping the gun. The master shutoff is located on the bottom of the grip.
