    Assassination attempt?
    Come on.

    It's a statement.
Would they be happy if they got him, I'm sure they would.
But you don't target a building that he MAY have been in, with something that can't even wipe out the entire building.
    IKR.

The Kremlin is freakin' huge and that was just a toy with some fireworks strapped to it.
I'm guessing a just a Muscovite pissed off about the war.

Regarding Nordstream I was just watching a presentation by Peter Zeihan.

According to what he was saying, behind closed doors Sweden is certain (and has been since very early on) that the Russians blew it up.

The basic logic was that Russia (the govt) had pushed to cut off service. Gazprom (the Russian oil company) was then on the hook by contract for paying Germany the full cost of natural gas when they had to go somewhere else. HOWEVER, if an act of terror or war took out the pipeline then Gazprom was off the hook. This allows Russia to damage Germany and Gazprom doesn't have to pay Germany.

So, why hasn't Sweden come out and just said so? Because... Europe is trying to wean itself off of Russian oil and gas. Slowly. If Sweden were to come out with proof today Europe would be politically forced to cut all ties today. That hard slam would really hurt, so for everyone's sake Sweden is keeping quiet, for now, until their European allies are able to whether the entire shutdown.

    Just a thought...

    Regards,

    Doug
It's like a water hammer - you just can't shut off the tap quickly; you got to ween yourself off that gas.

At first I thought you were kidding (because the image of an Icelandic Terrorist, I mean...), but are you talking about this:

And I'll never forgive Van Owen for what he did to Roland.
I was making it up! Didn't know the Icelanders had gone off the deep end since the US pulled out forces in 2006.

I was last there 25 years ago. I always said in a (Tom Clancy) Red Storm Rising scenario we'd have shot half of them. Lets just say I preferred the unapologetic capitalists in the RoK to the lazy socialists in Iceland.

The problem with that is that it wasn’t an assassination attempt. Or if it was, it was the most laughable one ever. It’s like someone being shot at by a spit ball and claiming it was an attempt on their life. Nah. It had some other purpose. And I don’t think anyone who knows would care to tell the truth about what that purpose was anyway.

Test run to determine accuracy and feasibility prior to outfitting other drones with > 1 kiloton munitions?

Maybe it took Zelensky this long to accumulate sufficient cash from Biden to buy a couple of suitcase nukes on the black market!

There's too much money to be made to end the circus at this point

You’re right about that. Wonder if when Biden’s build back better originated, he knew it was going to be replacing ammunition and armaments instead of decaying infrastructure?
