He is a mentally ill incompetent piece of ****.

How would being "at work" be a positive?

My guess is the mother****** is not the one "in command".
I agree he's not the one in charge and those that are want him as far away from this as possible. They don't need him trying to make a decission, hell, he'd order ice cream for everyone and claim he fixed it with his great diplomatic skills.

The Olympics end tonight. This week would be a great time for Russia to vacation in the Ukraine. I'm sure the Russian's didn't want to take the spot light away from thier friends in China, it might have upset their energy deals.

The States are not the military defense of the world....nor should they be.

This is a wag the dog deal.

If NATO is so concerned, let NATO start carrying its own weight.
If you get your way, and you just might, with this weak administration we currently have, I`m afraid we`ll all regret it. Following this line of thinking, Hitler would have overrun Europe and we might well be conversing in German.

The Russians are masters of deception!
They may send fake orders on less than secure means in order to throw off western intel.

They may also do feint attacks to get the Ukrainian forces to maneuver. Two fold objectives catch the Ukrainian forces in the open. In addition strain the Ukrainian logistics armor moving takes lots of resources.

The “Z”s are concerning we use a VS-17 panel among other things. It’s used of course to ID friend from foe.

Or the west may be making a mountain out of a mole hill to distract from economic collapse at home, and record levels of public resentment in government.

This interviewer's outlook says everything. He's conceding that Europe is powerless without the United States. He wants the US to make a long-term commitment to being a "European power" because as a group they can't cut it.

All these years we have'nt done them any favors by doing the heavy lifting based on our military prestige and economic leverage basically turning them into helpless dependents. We are seeing the effects now that the **** is hitting the fan.

They need Uncle Sam to come and save them once again.

Would speaking german be significantly worse than having drag queens exposing themselves to children in public school as a part of school policy?

Well, it would be a shame if Putin went into the Ukraine and found documents incriminating the Biden family and a bunch of crooked U.S. politicians.
Seriously, I don't think there is anything in the Ukraine that Putin wants or really needs. It's time for the U.S. to stop being the protector of Europe and the world. We need to take care of our own country before we even think about anyone else.
Apparently no lessons were learned in the middle east.

While the overarching principles the Founders had, and put in place, are timeless and still very much relevant today, the military strategies and worldview are not. It`s far from strategic military protocol to tolerate unabated military aggression from rogue states, and especially in light of the threat to our allies. It would be wonderful if we lived in a vacuum and didn`t have to worry about the repercussions of whatever else happens globally, but that is not the case.
So the response to aggression is to continue to develop our own capabilities to invade other countries?

It’s possible to spend our money on protecting the homeland instead of trying to police the world.

Right… so long as you weren’t among the deplorables…
