Yep. Looks like the perfect cure for the "safety that goes up" thing that I hate about Walther-style pistols like the Walther P22. Now if we can get past the craked slide syndrome, we'll have something.

I've been wanting a Bersa Thunder 22... but now... hmmm... I wonder what the street price will be.

Can't see anything talking about it have an option for a threaded barrel. MSRP is $399.

I'm curious, but would rather have them spending their manufacturing cycles on more SR1911's. :D

See the price or the gun?

Those of us who are on a waiting list for a SR1911 would like to see the gun, let alone the price! I'm not holding my breath for either. The fact that the SR22 showed up on their website doesn't mean much. :D

Looks good to me. I love about anything ruger. Already have a Walther P22 and it does look very similar but I could always use another plinker.

Yeah, I hear ya on the SR1911, I don't get the rationale of hyping a product then not being able to meet demand.

I like the looks of it. I'd have to wait and hear some thoughts on it as well. So I didn't bring it home and have it suck like the Mosquito did.

    sr 22 rifle?

Is sr22 pistol a foreshadowing of changing the name of the 10/22?

I can understand wanting to be modern and stuff, but the mark series and
the 10/22 are industry standards in their field.

I hope ruger remembers the lesson of new coke, and coke classic. If you
must change the recipe don't publicize it.

I already have a P22. My favorite though is my Bersa/Firestorm 22. Don't see the need to add a P22 clone to the collection.
