    I just put on the gloves and shook the crap out of my 1911s. All of them. Only one of them had a similar rattle to what you described in the other thread. It's disassembled in a box. When I shake the box it really rattles.

    What i don't understand is the gun is pretty new with prob 200rnds down pipe, thats just getting broke in in my book but rattles like its had way more than that thru it . Maybe i should of bought a Kimber

    Too bad you don't have 5-6 old dudes to remember how to reassemble it for you .

    Take it apart, put in all new parts. Spend $500 on a $600 gun and punch holes in paper. If it shoots and shoots to your liking screw that rattle.

    Oh hell no.
    Ruger has a great warr and they will fix it.
    I have a Ruger and have owned several with no rattles.
    Are you close enough I can look at it...???
