You can go with the Oasis suppressed top end for the MKII or MKIII. It runs $695 plus the $200 stamp. You're looking at ~$900 for the top end to add to your existing gun. You don't really need anyone to do the work if you go with something like the oasis. It's as simple as swapping out your old top end and installing the oasis.

Just remember, if you buy an intgegrally suppressed upper for your Ruger, you can't then use that suppressor on any other hosts.

For me, that's a deal breaker.

Once I get a suppressor for MY Ruger, I also plan on getting a threaded bbl for my 10/22 rifle and having the bbl on my CZ452 threaded as well.

Then I can have THREE suppressor hosts....for less money than 1 ingegrally suppressed upper.

They DO look sharp, though, I'll give you that!

I struggled with the same decision and I ended up buying the Gemtech Outback II and having the barrel threaded by Gemtech. I also have a P22 and a 10/22 that host the silencer.

Bigcraig, that is a nice looking set up you have.

I stopped in at BG firearms yesterday afternoon... To talk suppressors. :-)

I'm quite ready to bite the proverbial bullet and start the process to get one!

And since Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, I do believe that I'm going to put a Tac Innovations Stratus on my Tac Solutions PacLite upper on MY Ruger 22/45.

Unless, of course, the TacSol suppressors are a little less expensive. :-)

Most screw on .22 suppressors run around $250-$350.

There are some really expensive .22 cans out there that use monolithic baffle systems and fancy quick connect systems, but your first .22 can should be a simple design to learn the ropes, then later on you can weigh the pros and cons of a higher end .22 can.
