A polymer 1911 or a .22 AR
Already have the .22 AR out... Good guess though, just a little late.
My guess is it will be a LCP in 327. They are really pushing that round. Ruger has stated it is not a 1911 45. I will make them my first stop on Teusday morning at SHOT.

Well as some others have said it "might" be something in .327
I think they only have "1" gun in .327 and it would be in their best interest to push that round to increase sales with another platform.
huuummmmm.
[strike]Two, now. The 3" 6 shot SP101 and the 7 shot Blackhawk.[/strike]
Edit: I must correct myself. They have three .327s. The 3" 6 shot SP101, the 4" 7 shot GP100 (too much gun for the caliber, IMHO) and the 8 shot 5.5" Blackhawk.
I ever get rich and famous, I'm going to buy one of each. Still hoping for that 4" SP101 .327 though. Maybe they'll announce a bolt or lever gun chambered for the .327? That's be a sweet combo with any of the above guns.
Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Ruger® 22/45RP Mark III™ pistol, an even more realistic understudy for the venerable 1911 pistol. Now, the classic 1911 grip angle and feel of the Ruger 22/45 pistol is enhanced by replaceable 1911-style grip panels.
The checkered, cocobolo, 1911-style grips are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and allow shooters to swap to other grip panels to suit their shooting taste, style or need.
Like all pistols in the 22/45 lineup, the new Ruger 22/45RP pistol offers virtually identical magazine button, manual safety, and bolt stop locations as the classic 1911 pistol. The slim polymer grip frame features a serrated front strap and a checkered back strap.
The 33 ounce Ruger 22/45RP, chambered in .22 LR, features a blued alloy steel 5.5-inch bull barrel with a fixed front sight and micro-adjustable rear sight. Mounting optics on the new pistol is easy as all adjustable sight Ruger Mark III pistols are drilled and tapped for a Weaver-style scope adapter, included at no extra charge.
