Red Dawn remake?

Since hollywood cannot do anything creative any more and just remakes old movies, puts games to film, or goes live action with comic books, I have zero faith that they know how to do this movie well.

Re-runs. That's how Hollywood stays afloat nowadays. There isn't much original thought going on amongst these Arteeests anymore.

I have to agree. Seeing the cast, reading about it, seeing the absolute CRAP coming from hollyweird, Unless Clint Eastwood, or R. Lee Ermey is directing it, I expect it to suck rotten green eggs and ham.

The Bourne Ultimatum, Spiderman 3, and Quantum of Solace all sucked - I wouldn't expect much...

Spiderman 3 sucked because the studio forced its own ideas in while the script was being written.

Looks like they're filming it in michiagn. Supposed to be a few new movie production facilties going in due to good scenerey and cheap real estate. (you can go from God's country to inner city urban decay in 20 minutes, kinda like the last Clint Eastwood movie)


Like the rest of you I hope they don't ruin it.
When I told my 16 year-old about t his immediate response was. "Aw, it's going to suck I'll bet"

Hope he's wrong in this case.

I was just up in Detroit this weekend. I was at the MGM Grand

I saw no tanks......I'm gonna have to really scope this out and see of I can get near the filming. Ya kno wif you kno whwere you're going and where your at it's an OK place to go.

The first one is too awesome to remake; they would have completely butchered it and pissed me off for wasting $10,000 taking Kara and I to see it.
