    Thanks for all the suggestions. I ordered about 5 movies off ebay, you can get them pretty cheap and these older movies can be hard to find in stores.

    Im pretty excited to see Taxi Driver, it sounds really good, hopefully it comes by the weekend.

    What a great thread. Some of these I forgot how good they were. I do second Papillon. On a different note I always liked Jimmy Stewart in Harvey. He just walks around in his own world the whole show. Some days I would like to be there with him.

    I'm right around your age and prefer older movies as well. If you like comedies check out my all-time favorite movie, Young Frankenstein. It's a Mel Brooks movie and has Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, and even Gene Hackman.

    All these movies, and I can't believe nobody recommend The Siege of Firebase Gloria.

    On top of that, I also highly recommend The President's Analyst and The Mouse that Roared.

    Watched Winchester 73 last night, very good movie.

    The Dirty Dozen came in the mail today...Might watch it tonight but think I will save it for the weekend.
