Well, I suppose I'll start the flame war by saying I don't think civilians should be allowed to own modern automatic weapons.

    Well you're in good company.

What it's like watching a magazine FAIL.

Anyone who has a facebook, go look at Recoil Magazine's fan page. Keep hitting refresh because the "likes" are dropping like a brick! I'm sure most of you have already seen the comment that will most likely sink their magazine.

Not sure if they deleted their comment but I'm seeing plenty of comments coming so fast they can't do much about it. A couple of them quoted what was said. Pretty stupid for a magazine catering to the gun crowd to make comments like that.

I thought most all magazines were dead or nearly so. Where did you all get on to the Recoil Magazine bandwagon prior to this blunder of theirs?

Fair enough. I don't believe that people who would sell out the Second Amendment should be allowed access to the rights enumerated in the First Amendment.

I mainly don't like the term and context of "civvies" it makes it seem as if they are superior to civilians and that civilians are un capable of handling a serious weapon responsibly which is clearly untrue, as a civilian I have to no limits as to how much I can learn or train (given personal finances allow).
