Each of you are smart. My goal is to convert your immediate reactive response to a tactical one, and I know each of you understand what I mean by that. In the last 2 elections we sat and criticized, we failed to band together to defeat. We failed to accept the ability of the low information voter - those that follow like sheep. There are a lot of them and we just cannot afford to believe anymore that they can't be mobilized to defeat our agenda. We HAVE TO all get together in a united front behind a strong leader. Please keep in mind those that oppose our agenda are very skilled in steering the media and the popular opinion and finally the vote. Fact: the public official we loathe 1) got elected and 2) got re-elected.

Indyjohn, while I agree with you, if past election discussions are any indication, this will quickly devolve into "sheeple voting for anything with an 'R' by its name", "we had a good candidate if only people would 'get it'", "people that vote for third party candidates are voting for the enemy", and the ever so whimsical "anybody but Hillary" argument/counter arguments.

I know, I know, I know. I so make it a point to stay out of this room because how discussions devolve. And do it with a vengeance. But looking at that page today just angered me. Yes, I need to look more at Rand Paul, see if his flavor of crazy is something I can get behind. I'm going to look at Christy because the guy's got a spine.

Dangit GFGT, I can't go another round of "AT THIS POINT WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?!?!?"

I think Rand and Cruz are two promising candidates on the GOP's side this time around. Unless something comes to light I'm unaware, based on what I've seen them do so far, I'd have no qualms about voting for either. Christy is good for sound bites--for sure. He's simply another northeastern progressive republican.

Liberal social media is powerful. No, I don't think it should be dismissed. I tried having discussions with some of my Facebook "friend." It never turns out well because you're on their turf, they won't discuss facts, and are rude in a way I don't think they would have the guts to be in person.
Ive never been able to convince a liberal he or she is wrong, but, sometimes you'll find someone who is just uninformed you can influence and talk to.

Reminds me of the hardcore Christian and the mathematician I work with. They argue the bible near constantly and have never accomplished a single thing in either direction because they're both convinced their argument is the correct one. Always be on the lookout for the uninformed, though. Therein lies hope.

I am sure that the Whigs never thought their political party would become irrelevent either. Voting 3rd party isn't voting for the enemy it is voting for how YOU would like the country to be run. I don't completely agree with Dums or Repubs and straight ticket voting for either one could be concidered following the sheeple. The 2 are pretty much after the same thing more control over the citizens. The party in power is never going to take significant laws away, reduce the debt, or give us our freedoms back. Those not in power are going to point out the same thing until it is their turn in office.

i think those words are going to be very hard to overcome but who knows, a huge block of the voting public are only interested in their team winning or getting the first woman elected, even as the shackles get tightened on them.

^^^This^^^ When I first read the post about Hillary this was still ringing in my ears. I have sons that are already telling me they intend on going into the military when they are of age. Having a POTUS that can't properly lead our country and holds our country's protectors in disregard gravely concerns me. Shortly after she made this statement she had a mysterious "medical event" that kept her out of the news media's view while this scandal was buried. Our country has developed a very bad case of "shiny object syndrome". Thanks to liberal media deciding what gets air time, we have heard more about Justin B's arrest than we did about the attack on our embassy and the lives that were lost.

If she runs and the tube inundates us with that seriously ugly mug I may have to slice my wrists.

Now...now...now....no need for anything rash. Remember--your tv has more than one channel and if that fails, you can always turn it off. That's much better for your health and won't stain your carpets.

I should not have to run and hide from that image. She was never easy to look at and has not aged well.

Last I heard she will get 54% of the female vote. Add 100% of minorities and welfare recipients, plus the socialist vote, she will be tough to beat. Not a pretty picture for us.

Millions will vote for her, only because they recognize her last name. She is a part of the administration of the one that they truly adore...Facts do not matter.

93 million Americans aren't even looking for jobs anymore, because there are no jobs. They will naturally end up having to vote for the person that swears to keep them in housing, clothing, food, and all the other government freebies. Once the federal tit hit the 51% mark...the rest of us working slobs were totally screwed.

I'd have it a lot easier if I cashed everything in, and put the money in a pillow case...quit my job, filed for diability, moved in to a Section 8 rental, signed up for SNAP, and jumped on the Obamacare choo choo train...I'm coming to the party late as about 130 million of my closest friends have beaten me to it.

What will we do when no one is working and everyone is sucking the federal tit?

    FIRST female POTUS
