Turning the founding fathers into prophets, priests kings, and apostles and considering the Constitution to be scripture is anathema

I’m not a mod, nor will I try to act like one. I don’t report comments, I don’t tell people to delete posts, I don’t step on the mods shoes and when they tell me to knock the **** off I’ll gladly comply. All I was saying is the rules state religion is to be discussed in religious threads, not political threads. I follow Christ best I can as a sinner, but when I’m reading about politics I don’t want to read pages of people bickering about their religion and it’s existence. As for your prayers, I’ll never turn down being prayed for.

I understand now that this thread isn’t solely about “the fight is still on”, and will respect your wishes by removing myself from the discussion.

I’m not mad. At all. Not even a little aggravated. I may have got a little flustered when I read your first reply and misinterpreted your text, but that’s water under the bridge at this point. I try to avoid religious threads, it turns into debates instead of a gathering of Christians to discuss Christianity. Even if I may agree with your interpretation of the founding fathers intentions, I just don’t like mixing politics and religion. It never ends well, and I believe my faith is way higher than any political figure or policy so I don’t compare the 2. But, this is your thread and you’re free to discuss as you please, I will respect that. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to discuss it in private, but I’m searching politics until this craziness is over
