I couldn't believe it when a friend & INGO member told me he had a Sig Sauer 210.
I took it to the range today & to compare it to my upgraded Shadow 2.

    From Wikipedia:
Swiss Army designed and manufactured in Switzerland by SIG from 1948 to 2006.
It was used from 1949 to 1975 by the Swiss Army and police units.
It was also adopted by the Military of Denmark in 1949 and was replaced by the SIG P320 in 2019.
Swiss production of the P210 continued until 2006.
A new model, the P210 Legend, was introduced by SIG Sauer GMBH of Germany in 2010.
The P210A, was introduced by SIG Sauer Inc. of New Hampshire in the United States in 2017.

Comments will come later in an edit.

Wow, never seen a handgun with adjustable rear sights like that. Are those real wood grips??

The post sent accidentally too soon, so I hurriedly put pics with it and resent it.
I now am working on further comments.
They are probably the best sights I've ever adjusted: so impressed!!!

    Walnut grips!

Some really good targets with the CZ and Sig P210! I envy you getting to shoot a P210! If my eyesight was good I would have a P210 instead of my P226 for sure!

I was so excited to do so!
When my very first round (after practice and sight adjustment on 3/4" squares) was dead center on the 1.75" circle, I was in hog heaven. :alright:

I barely was aware of the 210.
Someone had one for sale on INGO awhile back and they didn't mention the caliber, which I hate when people do that b/c I've got to do so, haha!
    When I looked the 210 up I found a 22LR Sig 210.

I didn't even know about it really being a 9mm but Sig had made a .22LR slide for it as well for a few years, apparently.
B/C of the discussion with the seller, he asked if I was aware that this was a 9mm. :wallbash:
I did really feel like an idiot. :lmfao:

Since researching gun before and after shooting it, I've never even come across anyone talking about a .22LR slide?? :dunno:

Haven't been to the range much lately b/c of family medical issues of my 39 yr old son.
He is on the mend now!

Had a refreshing day with 9mm:
    - "new" Sig P210A Target (my new favorite 9mm) I bought June 2024 from a member & friend this year
    - CZ Shadow 2, my longest owned gun & long favorite (7.2018)
    - CZ Rami (owned since 2.2020), best combination of CC & range gun
    - SW M&P Shield Performance Center ported barrel

Note: Finally decided to sell the CZ Rami today.
Buying the Sig P210A pushed me over the edge. :lmfao:
I never carry the Rami anymore & don't need it for range.

    Just used reloads again today.
    - 115 & 124 grain

My 3 favorite 9mm pistols here @21' on 3.75" circles.
I'd forgot that I used my 1.75" circles last time. :dunno:
Didn't post the pic of the SW M&P Shield PC w/ported barrel, even more boring than these pics!

Oh how nice to have a P210 and a CZ Shadow! Nice shooting too! I wish Sig would have come out with an optics ready P210. I have a P226 and bought an optics slide. Sent the pistol off to the Sig Armorer for an action job but the SA action trigger I am sure is nowhere near as good as either of your 9mms. My precision 9mm these days is a Ruger PC Carbine!

The P210A has the best stock trigger and rear adjustable sights (W AND E) on any gun I've had,
but only has an 8 rd magazine, which is why my friend sold it to me for a price I couldn't refuse, but
still the most expensive gun I've every bought!

The Shadow only had elevation adj. but does have 17 rd mags.
    They are both treasures!
If I had to choose today, I'd take the P210, though!
Just like I'm going to sell the CZ Rami, as time goes by I should try to sell the Shadow 2
    but
I have $1400 invested b/c I allowed myself to splurge on it, hahaha!

I shot this group a couple of weeks ago. My Sig P320 Compact really likes the 135 gr. coated bullets. 115 gr. never group anywhere this well at 25 yards. It is a 5 shot 2" group. That shot that I jerked into the 10 ring was to keep me humble.

A pleasure taking the Sig P210A Target & the CZ Shadow 2 to the range today.
Used reloads: 147 grain, Win primer, 3.2 BE, S.L.N.

I usually use 3.75" circles with larger calibers at the range.
I got carried away today using the 1.75" circles at not only 15' and 21', which would be tolerable, but tried shooting at 30', which did not work out so well for me. :nono:
I blame the flyers on the reloads, no surprise there.

Wanted to test my of my best loads in the P226 from a rest with red dot at 25 yards. Was hoping for all 10s and I am pretty sure the pistol would do it if you take me out of the equation. It was a 124 XTP with Power Pistol , Fed primers and Sig brass. Shooting free handed it has shot some of my best targets.

Got a chance to shoot Zackcz's all metal primo pistol: Canik SFX Rival-S.
    Beautiful gun.
Loved the magazine release button, it was noticeably raised like all magazine releases should be!
If I owned it, I'd have to put walnut grips on that SS frame! :rockwoot:
Felt really good in the hand, good heft!

I used reloads: 147 grain with solid copper nose.
That might explain some of the flyers I got??
Rear sight windage & elevation adjustable with red front fiber optic.
Zack shot it better free hand than I did using a rest. :ugh:
    Distance between 21' & 30'.
    His range pics right below.
His circles are 2.5", I think.

Tried out the Hornady 125 HAP with Power Pistol in the P226 from a rest at 25 yards. Was a clean barrel and fired one fouling shot before the 10 shot group. Going to try again this weekend with 115 XTP. And the Glock 34 with 3 different loads.

Not from a Ransom Rest but 50 yards standing two hand hold. And with an optics slide with Romeo 1 Pro. Was back in 2022. Need to try again soon once the weather cools down.

Looks like a ten shot 3 1/2" group. That's good shooting for a stock 9mm pistol, especially considering that it was shot standing, and unsupported. Good on ya!
