As of right now I more or less shoot strictly on private property. I'm lucky enough to have a couple good friends with family land, clay throwers, target stands etc.

With the start of this new year though I will be a member of a local club and be doing some more structured shooting there !!

I am really glad to be a member of two really good clubs, and I enjoy chatting with people I run into at public ranges. But they've all got their rules that make shooting their less enjoyable. So much so I have specifically looked to buy land specifically for shooting and nothing else. But I couldn't dream of never heading to the clubs or public ranges, there's just too many knowledgeable people there willing to share what they know.
