I was there lst in 2015. It wasn’t all that bad from my vantage point. But I didn’t spend time in the city.

Driving on the beach was pretty awesome. Letting someone pump my own gas was not so much. Great coffee just about everywhere. There were more coffee shops on the way to the beach than gas stations.

The area around Aurora is better.

Like most places, the areas outside the cities is much better.

Yep! We've home schooled since 2015. Best thing we ever did. Kids don't have to worry about mass shootings, transgenderism, wokeism, liberalism, bullies, government mandated tests, peer pressure and crappy cafeteria food. Not every state is good for home schooling, but thankfully Indiana is a good one.
