I will be heading to the People's Republic of Maryland soon. Our oldest's ulcerative colitis is trying hard to kill him, and I'm going to care for and hug him. His loyal sister has been doing all that so far, and deserves a break.

SWMBO is also struggling with Ehlers-Danlos, frequent muscle cramps, trouble sleeping, and rafts of doctors who haven't helped.

I've learned recently to not spend precious time on doctors who don't listen and when you find the ones who do listen and seem to be good to work with them to get a plan together and then be assertive in the execution of the plan.

I'm just done dealing with doctors who don't listen, and I'm done with being passive when it comes to health decisions.
