Looping back to “The Hunt” for a second.

Whatvirritates me is its not even an original concept. The story was originally called “The Most Dangerous Game” and was required reading for one of my English Lit classes in junior high I believe. These clowns took an old story, tweaked it to their sick fantasy, and remade it.

Yeah, I saw a preview of it awhile back when we went to see a different movie. It really did look like the hunted turn the tables on the hunters.

I would think Antifa and the Progressives would boycott the film if the deplorable's win.
The only acceptable ending would be if their hunting activities became known and the population as a whole began killing non-Socialists and refused to convict those who committed deplorable murder.
That's a film that would sweep the Academy Awards.

Seems like some think you guys have it wrong about that movie.

He has a point. The movie isn't about heroes hunting down "Trump supporters". It is about the "Trump supporters" fighting back and I am guessing winning in the end.

Even so, the film would only contribute to political violence. Trump supporters might like that they "win," but the Progressives would likely act out scenes in the film in which a deplorable is killed. Also, they would claim the film showed aberrant Progressives acting like typical Conservatives.

The movie trailer does seem to suggest the "deplorables" are the protagonists. It's possible it could be a moderate's view of today's discourse. It's hard to say what it is without seeing the movie.

But. If it ever became something like that, ***damn straight the ***** ass betas would be needing some safe spaces if urban ******* hunted real ass men and women from rural areas.

Yeah. I think that's why Disney scuttled it. Division is really high now, especially after 3 high profile shootings over just a few weeks.

    .
Maybe the antifa people will protest the film being shown by blocking admission to the theaters that show it.

One protester specifically threatened GEO Group’s former general counsel John Bulfin, shouting the locations and addresses of where his children live in the United States.
“We know where all your children live throughout the country … John Bulfin you have kids in [bleeped out], you have kids in [bleeped out],” the protester shouted. “We know everything about you and you won’t just be seeing us here.”
“We know where you sleep at night,” another protester shouted. “We know what kind of dog food you buy your dogs.”
“We’re not actually joking,” the protester said before shouting the location of where Bulfin lives. “John Bulfin you go to [bleeped out], you go to church on [bleeped out], you live on [bleeped out the] road. We are not joking.”

GEO Group is a contractor that provides facilities for Federal agencies including ICE. The “protestors” also shouted thrests at other employees. This was on Monday in Florida.

Today, Tuesday, at 0300 more than one person fired shots into GEO Group buildings housing ICE offices in San Antonio, narrowly missing employees. All bullets recovered were on floors occupied by ICE.

This should make a good topic for the next Dem prez nominee debate. Cant wait for CNN to ask the candidates about this.

Have you noticed that EVERY movie lately is a remake or a sequel or a spinoff?

That's kinda their MO these days.

Its cheaper to either recycle old content or use "unscripted" cheap talent that just wants their 15 mins. (reality tv)

But it appears to be turning around. Years ago we ditched cable. About the time they went 100% digital. I missed my history, TLC and Discovery documentaries. Months later I was traveling and eagerly turned on the hotel TV to watch my favorite shows. I was disappointed that my shows were gone, replaced by reality tv.

Over the last year I've noticed in my travels that those 3 are back to their roots and showing actual programming again, not that reality crap.

    ****ty iphone "keyboard"?

Wait, did you just call my fingers fat?!!?!? Well, I NEVER! *Gasp* *clutches pearls*
