I can fill up the tank on my vehicles for around $60. A couple bags of groceries can easily be double that.

When we were first married, we would have our single friends from Church, over on the weekends. 10 to 12, 20 somethings, pizzas, pops, snacks, cold cuts...

We would go shopping at the Food Lion down the street and fill two large shopping carts for under $50.
