Somehow, I really didn't enjoy that. As a person of faith I "feel" there are some boundaries that should not be crossed.

Oh :poop:, I'm a stinkin' touchy feeley liberal SJW. Shoot me quick.

Maybe they were confusing it with a Vin diagram:

If you focus your eyes just right, that becomes a 3D image, right?

My people invaded Scotland. Took their stone, gave them dresses. Now all they want is whiskey and a welfare check.

Just what's to gain by invading Scotland? We took the rock already.:D

Maybe we invade Slovenia for the hot chicks?

I'm with ya bud, what they did was far from Kosher, and I'm not just making a bad pun. Bet most folks don't even understand the figure of speech and where that comes from.

Oddly enough, I agree with you somewhat.

On the one hand, they went into it being told "turkey bacon", and that's actually what it was. There was no crossing of their religious boundaries.

On the other hand, they were essentially put in fear of their souls' places in eternity. It would be similar to telling a Catholic that s/he recited a Satanic prayer in Latin, such that they knew not what they were saying.

In the long run, there was no harm done. I agree, though, there are some places you just. don't. go. and this is one of those, IMHO.

    Blessings,
    Bill

As the pig was an unclean animal, this was considered unspeakable defilement.'” - A compilation of the diary of Rear Admiral D.P. Mannix III.
