It reminds me of Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee referring to all African-American Republicans as "Uncle Toms."

If they shuffle and jive, like those two women do, then yeah, it's apt. Lots of black Republicans present themselves as intelligent, thoughtful, and civic minded. Theses two, play into a stereotype.
