Punchline, "Well, doc, I usually just sit on the couch with a bag of Cheetos and watch a [movie intended for adult audiences]."

So you are saying that people that obsess over Trump "orange man bad" daily may get a bit handsy while alone? I believe it.

They were very common, very public, and infinitely worse than a pic of Trump next to a Cheeto.

Jeez, I wasn't trying to create drama with the Cheeto picture. I just thought it was funny because he's an unnatural shade of orange. It certainly wasn't my intention for it to be racial. Oompa Loompas, to my chagrin, are not real so he wasn't born to some strangely orange tribe. If anyone is offended, I apologize for triggering you. When I see something I don't find funny, I just move on. I guess some people are more sensitive.

I wasn’t offended. I didn’t reply cause I was butt hurt over it. I just think it shows how dumb the left is, when they use the same ole Cheeto comparison over and over for years now. It was funny at first, 3 years later... not funny.

Its like when I laugh at something my toddler does, they do it over and over to try to get you to laugh at them again. The left have a lot in common with my toddler I’m realizing.

I thought the shape of that particular sample bore an uncanny resemblance to the profile of Ye Olde President.

I'm not sure if this is funny or not, but a farmer I know shared this graphic showing how little of the "Farm bill" actually has anything to do with farming.

You should have been around for the Rutherford B. Hayes & pork chop comparison thread.

I haven't looked into it that deeply, and you may not like the source, But....

    https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-...-trump-falsely-claims-hillary-clinton-lied-f/

If the FBI didn't catch her lying to them, they apparently weren't trying as hard as with Stone.

If they're going to find Trump/Russian collusion I wish they'd hurry up and present the case. About all the indictments/arrests have been related to the process of interviewing, where it seems obvious they're setting perjury traps. Nevertheless, it's clear they didn't want to find wrongdoing on the part of Clinton in the same way they're pressing Trump and his cohorts. I don't mind they're pressing Trump. But they need to apply it universally if they're going to apply it at all. Kinda makes fair minded people think they've a desired outcome in mind with all their investigations, as with Clinton, and with Trump.

The Stone's one was not a perjury trap, IMHO. At least looking at the indictment, he hid things that he didn't actually need to hide - like working through an intermediary to contact Assange.

Dude's natural environment is skullduggery, so that's what he always plays.

That's the thing that is difficult to understand. Except for Manafort (who probably WAS doing illegal things), I'm not sure these people really needed to lie about the things they lied about. They are just so used to lying that they almost couldn't help themselves.

Well, fair enough. But. I don't think there's a reason to believe Mueller didn't lay any perjury traps. He's done it with everyone. It's just that he didn't need it with Stone and some others, because they were perfectly willing to lie. Probably it would be helpful to have an attorney present during questioning who can help them traverse the questions and hint at what they don't have to lie about.
