You could stop fumes, by using the included caps.
And the "improved" version spills real easy.

The real issue is the idiotic nozzles.

I spill more fuel from the magic government can filling my lawn mower than I do putting 20 gallons of fuel in my truck from Jerry cans.

They do not rust, that is true and I love that, but when they sit in the sun they blow up like beach balls and they are so easy to tip over they do it all by themselves. Plus I always have to fix their child-proof caps so I can open them.

I think you can still get metal Jerry cans. I think I've seen them on Amazon.

You have to put that on the edge, and push in.
When it slips off, gas goes all over.

Some of them make it impossible to pour from the can into a vehicle without leaking and spilling. And a lack of a vent makes them really slow to empty. If you're not able-bodied, dumping a 5-gal can into the tank of a car could be a real challenge.
