I wouldn't know - I gave up the freedom to judge others when I chose to serve the Lord. *

But if you've got your own socially derived ethics, then live by them.


I dunno. Did she make the meme? Did she post and repost it? Did she actually say that or did someone just take her image and attach a phrase in order to make point?

If she actually said that, then, yeah, game on.

"Judge not lest ye be judged." is an incomplete quote.

If no one judges, there are no standards. If we have no standards, we have no society.

Everyone judges, all day every day. We refrain from taking action on those judgments to avoid things. Hurt feelings, a beating, jail time. You know. Little inconveniences of life. Tell me you don't judge and you can probably be proven wrong in two questions or less. If you answer honestly.

But who am i to judge.

Golly, guys, I was taught that "judge" in the quote from Jesus meant "condemn;" as in "declare worthless" or "consider beyond redemption."
You make judgments every time you pick a blue shirt instead of a green one. It doesn't mean you hate green or will never wear a green shirt.

Interesting. I was not taught that it was quite that harsh. That kind of sounds like the "judge" in a quote from Isaac Parker.
