If I read this correctly, you have to select "yes" to not get quote notifications. Seems nicely backwards.

Setting to "Yes" will remove the auto quote from PM's you reply to.
Setting to "No" will not remove the auto quote from PM's you reply to.

I had everything checked off and still got a PM about being quoted

Yes, it's backward to my way of thinking as well. But I don't think that changes the notification. Just whether or not the sender's PM text appears as a quote in your reply to them.

And if you get a PM for this, mea culpa.

Remove the name from your quote is what I am hearing. If I quote BK and remove his name and leave the text it will not wear him out with notifications.

I can see a positive with this if you are involved in a long running conversation or a flat out knuckle buster but I really do not want my phone waking me up at 2:00 AM for a quote call.

Guess what I am doing at 2 AM, quoting everyone on INGO

I just checked mine to "off". Are you still getting them?

The way the dialog is worded, it seems to be a feature the auto notifies when you get a PM, when in actuality you are automatically getting a PM when a post of yours is quoted in a thread. It is confusing.

Worth a try, removed churchmouse name as shown in quote, was PM still sent?
