I've had a ton of fun with my Ruger SR22P since I picked it up last fall.

I've been kind of amazed that it handled the Aguila 60-gr SSS rounds perfectly (they do c. 830 fps from this gun here at 6k' above sea level). Given their sectional density, they ought to be pretty decent little drills. But for just fun - wow, this is a hoot with CCI Blazers.

You might want to title each picture with make / model & caliber of each gun your posting.

I sure don't recognize all the makes & calibers.

Don't use the nail polish! I saw a post with a picture of one that the owner had used nail polish and it looked bad! It still had a lot of the polish on the slide that the owner said he did not get off fast enough. He had not tried nail polish remover on it yet...hope that worked for him!

Calm down. Nail polish paint works just fine. The image you saw probably looked bad because he didn't know what he was doing. He was supposed to use nail polish remover to remove the excess once it dried.

Lightly of course with a folded paper towel works. That way you don't take it out of the grooves.

Don't worry about leaving it on too long. You can't. Nail polish remover (acetone) will remove even the groove paint years later if you find you suddenly don't like the color.
