Actually time is not constant. It's relative.

Actually, my Wifes Grandfather, Chief Jean Baptiste Richardsville, had clocks in his home.
He was proud of the fact that he could set a "time" for dinner, meetings, etc.

I hate waiting til after 10pm for 4th of July fireworks!
And who wants to wait til dark for a decent fire-pit to hang around when it's so late already & you have to get up early for work? Bah!!
And really little ones with bedtimes? Yeah, it's fun getting them down while the sun is still shining.

+1 on that. I thought i'd hate it when it was passed a few years ago but I love the extra daylight in the summer.

A unit of time is indeed just an arbitrary unit, but on a human scale, can be defined with extreme precision and accuracy.

Almost everything is defined with naturally occuring constants. Granted, we are only as accurate as the test sample, measuring equipment, & scientific understanding.

Coonfingering the clocks in order to pretend we haven't changed our schedules is the ridiculous part I object to.

Change schedules as often as you like... just leave the clocks alone.

^^^ALL this & have you ever known someone who has a child with severe autism....changing their child's internal clocks twice a year is just another stress they DON'T need!!!
