To me the bigger issue is did it happen and if it did was the information withheld from the commander in chief. There already is an admission of treason for military generals telling our adversaries not to listen to the president…

I know the 'left' likes to lionize these guys, but everyone should be AFRAID of military commanders forgetting civilian control.

Yes, this country is based on civilian control of the military.
And people seem to be forgetting how important that is.

And the next time an (R) is in office they'll be begging for a military coup and military dictatorship while saying it's to "save democracy."

That's my question. Only thing I can think of is spying, which if that's the case they definetly shouldn't have let it out that we found out about them.

It's not that they withheld it, but according to the article they didn't even know about it until later.

"Every day as a NORAD commander, it's my responsibility to detect threats to North America. I will tell you that we did not detect those threats," said Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command.

Unfortunately, it's not clear exactly who told the media about the Chinese spy balloon incursions under Trump only to mislead reporters by conveniently omitting the fact that the incursions were not discovered until after Trump left office.
