Peanut butter sandwich with chili?

My school always served P B Sandwich's with Chili ! I always figured it was a 2 fold thing so we would not notice how bad the chili tasted and for the picky eaters that would not eat the chili still had a protein ??

Usually I have my peanut butter on breakfast sausage witha side of eggs. With Chili why not peanut butter goes with anything.

My father-in-law used peanut butter in making his chili, and I have to say it was very good chili.

Everyone thought I was weird for eating PB and chilli, guess I'm not after all. Like I read upthread, my father used to eat PB and mayo together. Anyone remember the Fluffer Nutter? Peanut butter and marshmallow cream.

Here's one to try and I've never known anyone who's tried it to not like it. Peanut butter,fried egg, American cheese sandwich. Toasted of course...

The wifoid and I just feasted on a pair of delicious grilled peanut butter sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. We had no chili. There is no sandwich better than a grilled PB. Mmmm mmmmm

Never heard of it until I met my wife...I still prefer the good old fashion chili I've always had at my parents house
