If ever there was a reason for a "Golf Clap" smilie, this is it! Maybe he had a record(most likely), but it's for Damned sure he won't be out doing this ever again!

Fox 59 now reporting that IMPD has confirmed that it was a customer that shot and killed the would-be robber. The customer is now downtown being questioned by police.

I'm curious if BehindBlueI's will be working this case.

There are a lot of facts still missing, but if it's a justified shooting then I thank the customer for being willing to step up.

If it was a customer it was probably a deal where the bg was so intent on getting the loot that he completely neglected to look around for other threats. Dang! He must have thought he was in Illinois, New York or Maryland. Living in Indiana makes it extremely dangerous to neglect others in the store. I read a story a year or so ago about a hold up attempt at a convenience store in Indiana where the thugy boy walked up to the counter and stuck a pistol in the clerk's face. A customer in line nonchalantly pulled his gun and shot the dude in the side. He lived and was arrested.
