So my son turns 20 tomorrow, and he’s been wanting another gun. My father in law left me his Security Six when he died. I was racking my brain to get him a gun, and realized it was just sitting in the safe, so Happy Birthday to him..
Yes he is planning on carrying it!

Very cool. My dad gave me his Speed Six when I turned 21 and it was my first carry. I'd like to get a Security Six in stainless to match it.

Very cool. I would've been stoked to receive a gift like that.

Edit; that came off as a little pretentious. Let just say I've given gun gifts to family.
I've never been in the position to give one away, didn't mean it to be pretentious..I would have never sold it, and it was going to him....some day, so I thought his 20th birthday would be a good time... There were times in the past that I might have sold it to put food on the table, or help with rent, but we've been blessed, so....

Sorry, that edit wasn't clear. It was my post that I listed some things that I gave to family and listed them. Your intentions were entirely honorable and to be commended. I'm positive your son will enjoy the Ruger.
