we came up over covid too and it sucked, you never knew what might be open and what wasn't. If it survived that it is open now

Stayed in Newberry also.
Nowhere to eat and the one bar by the hotel charged way to much, it was like $50 for 2 cheese burgers, fries and 2 beers
Had a better time over in Houghton by Lake Superior
