Dang, your kids/grandkids were/are lucky! We stole lumber scraps from construction sites back in the housing addition to make our fort/tree house.

I kept putting it off buying this, because I didn't want something extra to mow around. But, seeing my daughter take my grandbabies to the park and them having fun, convinced me to stop being an idiot.

the old fort is now my garden, cut off the posts after the sycamore crashed thru it. Added fence around it to keep out the rabbits

Whew! Just got done cutting down some volunteer trees along my fence, and a couple of big Asian honeysuckle bushes out of the hedge row. Treated all the stumps with Tordon. Worked up a sweat.

I made Wife keep her feet up and be served!
Haven't been able to do this for her much this year.

When we almost lost her to sepsis from kidney stones last year, her dietary needs and tolerances changed dramatically.
Seem to be coming back a little closer to normal lately. Her asking for burgers was a GOOD sign!

Daughter, Son and I have sliced fresh things, set the table, every possible condiment imaginable set out, all is ready to go.

Except, Daughter wants a bit more head start making a small mountain of fries.
Slight holding pattern, here. It won't be an issue.

Got Susan's bed made. Preheating the oven for the wings. Grill is ready to light. Trying to time it so they'll be ready about kickoff time give or take. Need to doctor up some hot sauce for basting.

I finally bought a yard roller and we’ll pictures say a 1000 words or pounds in this case…
Got it for the pastures and of course to flatten any moles out in the process
About 6’ wide

Getting a little creative with my basting sauce. Normally I would just add some cayenne pepper and a little butter to the Franks Hot Buffalo sauce, but today I also added garlic powder, liquid smoke and some honey.
