Right now he is crunching cat food. I can hear him.

My tulip poplar has been dropping leaves like crazy for awhile now. Not going to be many left to change colors.

My oak is dropping green acorns and my maples are dropping leaves from the top.

Seen it before.

I have not been out to check yet, but I'll bet the swarm of mallards this morning might have found cranky, territorial Mr. Opossum.
The hundreds of visiting geese wouldn't touch, but ducks are omnivores.
Carrion works fine for ducks.

dogs are walked, wife's scripts picked up, car filled up
browning up 6 lbs. of burger with some onion to refreeze for camping

the first 6 I think were the original family that took over my back yard and ran off our outdoor cat, who has since returned, these new ones saw an empty territory and wanted to move in?
