I hear ya. I used a couple at farm house and lake property for 3-4 years after I retired and ‘had time and energy’. When we moved here 2nd year installed in ground sprinkler system with lake water pump - buy once, cry once. No regrets for my late in life irrigations needs.

I think they can only pull like 100' or so. You'd still have to move the little guy, but you'd be able to move it less often.
