Like walking into a wall when you walk outside. Weather guy on local news at moment showing Rochester wins the lollipop for heat index in our area @ 102*.

Driving to work this morning, minding my own business, when I can upon an orange cone in the middle of the road. As any intelligent driver would do, not knowing why the cone is there, I slowed down to make sure there wasn't something preventing my passage. As I was going around the cone, a large ass stick (2-1/2" dia.) came flying from behind a bush and hit the fender of the truck.

I turned around, but naturally the little f*** was gone. Called 911 and after a 45 minute wait, the officer said insurance likely won't cover damage, since there wasn't an accident. He wasn't wrong.

There are two huge dents in the fender, the paint is all scratched, and it busted my mirror off.
Checked on mirrors and best price I could find is almost $400. Instead of body and paint, I got an estimate from a paintless dent repair shop. That's almost $600. So because of some ahole that can't get his own nice atuff and decided to f*** up mine, I have a $1000 repair, that I have zero dollars for.

Decided to sit outside a few minutes. A few minutes noticed a squirrel about 10-12’ away under blue spruce burying a nut in the mulch and he left. Few minutes later he came around the corner where I was sitting, got within 5’ of me. Froze, did -not-move-a-muscle for a bit, then dropped his nuts and tore off. I still have his nuts

No not at all. It was amazing ! Looked to be a yearling so not big. But them nuts were huge…looked funny hanging out of his mouth.
