Wondered why all the birds evac'ed just a moment ago.
They're fluttery and flit away with every passing car, but return quickly.

Just now a red tail hawk landed on the ground next to one of my feeders.
He put his beak in the ground in a few places.

Not sure if he's sniffing or taking temps, but then one head bob, wing flap and he was gone.
20 ft away, though. I got a really good look at an amazingly healthy, fine looking specimen!

Last night after my final Daddy Taxi retrieval, I stopped for a few minutes, got out of the car and had a listen to the band that was playing in The Commons area.

Daughter was with me. She loves live performance, too!

I was impressed. Band was tight! Spent about ten minutes there. Had a classic Motown set going at the time.

Most impressive to me was that the sound reinforcement system sounded pretty darn good.
No headaches blasting from the lows, no ear piercing happening from the highs, just a pleasant, balaced sound. Gave me hope.

My sprayer is acting up. Not sure if the battery is just getting low or what, so I put it on the charger. Even with the nozzle off of the end of the wand it's not putting out much pressure.

Usually means a dull

Our sweet gum is going yellow in spots.

It's a Bauer from Harbor Freight. It worked great when I first got it. I hope it's just the battery. I ran water through the wand and it's clear, and the nozzle should be clear after soaking it in CLR yesterday.
