That stuff can mess you up for awhile.

It's difficult to sort it because she has pictures, jewelry, important documents intermingled into everything. I found our homeowner's policy in an otherwise empty shoe box that was piled among many empty shoe boxes, for instance. I found a baby picture of me in her makeup bin.

I have her clothes all taken care of, which was the part I was dreading worse than anything else.

Wife left her fob, keys and a note asking me to check her oil for her.
She's a solid country girl. Drove a pick up truck when I first met her 30+ yrs ago.
We each take care of our own cars.

Checked, it's right where it's supposed to be. Started it, heard nothing untoward.
Need a conversation when she wakes.

I ordered some fancy gloves that are safe to over 900 degrees. Barbecue gloves. But I will use one at the range.

That reminds me. I have thawed T-bone to grill tonight.

I had a tortilla smeared with some of those fabulous refried beans I shuffled together yesterday, a scrambled egg rolled in, jalapeno.

Slow today, quiet, except for some Beatles whispering in the corner.
My plan is to rest from the new shelving project up top and just sit and re-size brass for a while.
