Went out and gave the petunias in the front planter a shot of fertilizer. They don't need watered as often as the hanging baskets. I would've waited until morning, but I'd be tracking in a bunch of grass clippings if I did it then.

Made it thru the work day. Boss gave me a helper. Still wore out when got home. Just woke from a 2 1/2 hour nap.

I have to change the battery in the mower at the Legion tomorrow, while waiting for the beer delivery.
maybe I'll cut the grass then, instead of thursday.

At least i won't be boiling hot when i do it.

Yeah, starting Friday it's going to be heating up again. Low to mid 90's by Monday and Tuesday down here. No rain in the forecast for the next 7 days either.

My buddy just texted me that the bladder cancer surgery went well today and the doc thinks he got it all. He'll learn more next week when he gets the pathology report.
