I saw the new neighbors out hanging up new wires on the clothesline. I had met the Mrs. But not the man. She hollered at me. I had Waylon so I put him in and went over. He had sat down on the ground and sat there while we chatted for a few minutes. I don’t know. Not the way I would meet my neighbor for the first time. as I was leaving he got up and went back to the clothesline.

I used to hear them from time to time a few years ago, but I've never seen one around here. Did see a fox run down the fence line between our yard and the neighbor to the west a couple years ago.

I used to hear them from time to time a few years ago, but I've never seen one around here. Did see a fox run down the fence line between our yard and the neighbor to the west a couple years ago.

When we moved here in ‘05 I heard them every night for years coming from all directions. Now haven’t heard one in many years.

Bought to call it a day. Wife, 2 dogs, and I are all beat…too much physical work this afternoon. Needed to remove a large ‘clump’ of tall grass in a bed/hardscape. Probably a couple years overdue to be dealt with. D**m near killed me.

Sit out most evenings. Know where the sun sets 1st day of spring, summer, fall, winter. Tonight just needs to go a bit further left and be at equinox/fall.

Dinner turned out bad tonight.

We occasionally do hotdogs wrapped with cheese and cut up onion inside a large jalapeño or sweet pepper.

I dont know what kind of pepper we bought this week but it was disgusting.

Was able to slide the hotdog and cheese/onion out onto a bun but its not the same or what you looked forward to all day.
