Morning everyone. Expat - when we had our cats spayed/neutered, they never had to wear a cone or anything. Chip never got her stitches out. The vet told me they would eventually dissolve...I can still feel them if I try and it's been two years. They never got infected and she was not having it when I attempted to remove them myself a couple weeks after her surgery. For the record, I have no intention of bathing my cats...I want to live.
