It's been time for them for a while, now.
I've been watching and listening, not seen or heard a single one.

I saw my first one this week.

yeah, I think it hit further west than Indiana. Maybe on the western edge/side of the state

It's usually mid to late spring for the first wave and early summer for the other variety. Can't remember which is which.
But, I haven't seen any at all.

It's certainly spider season here, though.
Can't go anywhere without disturbing an orb weaver at work.
One of the downsides of my predawn bike rides.
I can't see them in time to avoid whizzing right through their hours of toil.

Haven't had salmon patties in a while.
Just chopped a small hill of onions to help the effort Wife is making toward this end.

Set water on for mac and cheese and a big pot for some steamed broccoli.
Lunch is happening.
Feel like a king, almost.
