Need to water the flowers again this morning. I'm getting tired of watering.
    Noticed the same here.
Cool temps, but we've had a decent, almost constant breeze, too. Not so right now, but all day on Sunday.

Mix in typical August sun and things are still drying out almost daily.

Lawn and perennials seem fine, but all the annuals are more needy.

    Not far from the tree
Good morning Red Expat Brandon Onebdv8 Greg Patience MOM Sam DD Magyars Bedome and anyone I missed.. bought 8” culvert for the driveway and picked up hay yesterday afternoon.. redo on the grounding rods for the meter base. Two rods with separate #4 copper wire needs to be one continuous wire between the two rods then up to the meter base.
8"? Minimum legal here in my county is 12" and 15" with flairs at both ends is recommended. Unless you mean actually on the property, not at the ingress.

Should not have bought flowers if you getting tired of watering. :stickpoke:
Daughter has become enamored with coleus and has about 12 varieties in the yard.
    These are waterhawgs!
They're actually subtropical, shrubby perennials, but not hardy here.

When I showed her pics of some I grew at Dad's house in Texas forty years ago, she was astounded.
She wants that, but it takes about 3yrs to reach above the roofline of a ranch house.

Beautiful plants, but quite needy in Zone 5.

Same with impatiens. The gal I visited in Australia had them at her house and they were like 4' tall shrubs.
