    I read that the city Animal Control officers have a chip scanner in the trucks.

    After attempting other avenues, I think this may be the best option for the lost pet cat taking up residence in my shrubs.

    Another possibility is that I drive to Humane Society five days per week, now, at least until Daughter can get her car going again.

    I wondered if it might be chipped. If it had a responsible owner at one time, it may very well be.
