The critters were acting weird this morning. Ruthie wanted out about 4 a.m. (so much for sleeping in), so I let her out and went to the bathroom. While I was still sitting there, she started barking to come back in. And not just her usual one bark to let me know she's there. So I got up, let her in, went back and finished what I was doing. Went in to get dressed and take my thyroid med and she started barking again, so I hurried up and finished dressing and let her back out. I came out to the deck and she came running up all excited and wanted back in.

Then a little later, Callie was running around in the house like she was chasing something, but there wasn't anything there. Zipped by me a couple times and I really made sure to look, in case it was a mouse or something. But nope, nada.
