Cousin wanted a dog as companion since she is blind... but they picked a large hyper one... and it never gets walked... It acts insane but I still feel bad for the dog.

She wanted a large one to intimidate intruders but really just ended up with one that belongs running on 20 acres.

I've got a buddy with an American Staffordshire Terrier that is a brut... but the biggest teddy bear ever too. He just likes to sit next to you. About 100lbs

It's chemo day for Susan. How many rounds does Barb have to go through?

10 days of brain radiation in the first 2 weeks. Still unsure of the chemo regimen. Awaiting the results of the liver biopsy.

Several years ago we had a brindle American Staffordshire show up outside our gate. I was a little intimidated, but Susan let her in. Turned out she had gotten out of her owners' yard a few blocks away and I think she was just looking for someone to help her. She was so sweet! At one point, she put her front paws on my shoulders and just leaned her head in to mine and let out a long sigh. I told Susan later that it was a good thing we found her owners or else she would've stayed with us. Her name was Roxy. She came to "visit" one more time, but we found out later that she had passed away.

they really are some sweet dogs. But man, if you don't know that, they're VERY intimidating. They're pretty protective too though. Great companion

We'd like one too, but dang, they're pricey if you get a full-blooded one from a breeder.

We have 2 Maine Coon manx mix
They were actually free, we got a set of boys and the MiL got a set of girls.
Ours are very social, MiL's not so much.
I think they will be 2 this October, last time I checked they were 20 lbs each
