I hate those night. I spent some middle of the nights here myself along with Mij
My trouble is sciatica and its spasmy associates.
Doc says nothing to do except drugs. Problem does not warrant surgery. Not that I would do that, anyway.

Kind of wish there was some tea to drink instead of neck and shoulders of a bottle of Jack or something.
I could take a pill, but who wants more of that?

Have you tried the spinal cracker or acupuncture? I've known folks who've had success with both after the "normal" doc quit trying.

They want to cut on me, but I want to avoid it as long as I can. I am lucky that the Gabapentin works pretty well for me with few side effects.

Yeah, but my injury was to the sacral area. That low part that is supposed to be fused naturally, but mine no longer is.
    Accupuncture helped a little.

Don't know what the spinal cracker is, other than what I can do for myself to ease it up some.

I use one of those 6in by 3ft hard foam exercise things to roll on. Helps to relieve the pressure on the affected nerves, sometimes.

Read some about that. My doc is retiring very soon.
My spasms go up my back instead of down my legs. I beat my wife when it goes off, unintentionally.

Seeing a "Whole new Doc" next month and I will remember to ask about that or similar suggestions.

I've had this for a while, but it has gotten worse lately.
I'm 68, everything has gotten worse lately.
    :lmfao:

Oh, and I'm kind of a baby when it comes to missing sleep these days, so that too.

That bad habit of eating we have.
I'm sort of an amateur, frustrated organizer.
I also like to plan ahead against eventualities.

Going back even to my sound company days, every case had a checklist laminated to the inside top.
Make sure everything on this list is in this box before sealing it up!!

Hard to do that with groceries and my wife's nice car.

    Late breakfast!
Had some toast with sausage, onion and a jalapeno.
Really like this sage variety, Jimmy Dean.

Makes me miss my grandpa's sausage. He made his too hot for the kids and too sagey for the women. It was his! And I loved it!
