Do not fertilize newly planted trees for a minimum of 1 (one) year. They need the "stress" to stimulate root growth and are susceptible to over-fertilized and damaged until those roots are established.
Good to know.. I just planed 2 apple trees. My wife was mowing and somehow knocked off 4 of the low hanging apples....but there are a few more. I in the past put some horse manure in a bucket and let it break down and pour it in after planting.. hopefully that is not as bad??

Good morning DD and... Expat, Red, Target, Magyars, MoM, Patience, Sam, Greg's, Bedome, Onebdv8. I'm a little late in today, busy night and yesterday I was at my mom's.. she needed some things done and I started the POA process and getting her will finalized.. next week funeral arrangements. Strange and sad but this is what she wants.
You all have a good day and stay salty..
